Works with project team in the delivery order preparation and execution process.
Attends project meetings as requested.
Utilizes project management system for project documents and reports.
Assists with preparing and maintaining reports and utilizes project management system.
Track and calculate construction costs to verify costs correlate with Project Controls calculations.
Prepares and maintains contracts/change management logs.
Assists with change management procedures, task orders, change orders.
Assists with Project Allowance/Contingency processes and procedures.
Collaborates with project counter partners to develop in-house processes.
Assists with Contracts/Change Management status meetings.
Creates, maintains and manages project tracking spreadsheets.
Assists Project Managers with project document processing.
Prepares executive reports as requested.
Competencies
Collaborative people skills, both written and oral, are extremely important. This position is cross-disciplinary working with upper management to project field support staff.
Strong business skills to include typing letters, creating tracking tools and making presentation.
Must be familiar with construction project documents, such as Request for Information, Transmittals, Submittals, Field Directives, Task Order and Change Orders.
Ability to work well under strict deadlines and be able to work in an integrated office environment.
Education and Experience
Minimum 3 years working in the construction industry required.
Strong Microsoft Office skills – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Professional required.
Visio software experience preferred.
